My friend issues this to all his employees in Iraq. What is everyone's take on this particular weapon?
I've shot one once, they sure do sound neat.

Re: H&K USP .45
Mon, April 4, 2005 - 10:13 AMI've never fired the weapon, but the at least the caliber choice is sufficient, in my humble opinion... Do they also get some kind of .308 shoulder weapon??
If yes, are they hiring?? -

Re: H&K USP .45
Mon, April 4, 2005 - 8:17 PMI can get you a job holding a lot more hardware than that over there, but I don't reccommend taking it.
You'll be protecting oil wells and pipelines or riding shotgun in a semi truck (literally)
Pays really well (1000 a day) if you live long enough to spend it. -

Mon, April 4, 2005 - 2:45 PMAccurate, reliable, and trouble free. Feeds & digests everything. Very hand filling. Makes for a good partner to hang on your hip. -

Re: H&K USP .45
Tue, April 19, 2005 - 12:46 PMI've decided on the USP over the CZ 97b (which was very tempting, but found a really good price on the HK), but am still ambivalent over full sized v compact. I realize that that the difference is minimal (it being a .45 and all), but I don't have the opportunity to test fire either. Is the compact front-heavy enough to adequately stay on target. I'm leaning toward the compact for cc reasons, but it's enough money to ask.
Thanks. -

Re: H&K USP .45
Sun, April 24, 2005 - 2:42 AMI have used the H&K extensively [military] and find it to be one of the most reliable and accurate .45's. Compact vs. Fullsize, for cc go compact. The size difference is unoticable as per accuracy and overall feel. In actuallity the compact is better for most inexperienced operators.

Re: H&K USP .45
Tue, April 5, 2005 - 10:47 AMI own one and it is one of my favorite guns. I have put 5k+ rounds through it without a hitch. Shoots more accurately than I can.
