I just got a 9mm Kel Tec Subcomp 2000 carbine in trade for a granite cutting board from a trusted co-worker. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kel-Tec_SUB-2000
I like it because the first 10 rounds I ever put through it at 30 yards all hit center, then the next 10 at 50 yards kept 1 to 2 inch group at center. My only problem was the safety would slide just enough to come on after about 4 to 60 rounds. Seems like it might be relatively simple to fix, however I have no experience with this particular design. Before I start tinkering with this thing, does anyone have any experience with the innards of this thing and or an easy way to tighten up the safety? Other than the problem with the safety, it has become my next fun gun and I love that is uses Glock 17 mags.

Sorry that should have been 4 to 6 rounds, not 60.

So how is your Kel-Tec holding up? I have a Feather AT9, which is a lot of fun. My favorite pistol round carbine though is my Mariln Camp45. It uses 1911 mags and is fast handling, light and a tack driver at 25 yards.

It's holding up great. Among my shooting buddies it gets passed around quite a bit because everyone seems to love shooting it so much. This one is a tack driver as well and I've hitting marks at well past 25 yards...perhaps 35 or 40 yards. This one uses Glock 17 mags making them easy to find and cheap.
